Get to Know Me

I have always believed that the best engineers are the ones who can see the bigger picture. I am Fahim Yasir, a Senior Computer Science Honours student at Memorial University of Newfoundland, working to bridge the gap between complex AI systems and real-world business value.

I live by the full version of the old adage: "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."

While I focus on Machine Learning and Data Science, my Business Administration minor and Full-stack experience allow me to wear multiple hats. I do not just write code in a silo. I consider the strategic impact and the user experience. This versatility is my greatest strength. It lets me translate raw data into clear, actionable insights that stakeholders can actually use.

Creativity Meets Technology

Outside of coding, photography is my creative outlet. It teaches me that presentation matters just as much as the subject itself. I spend a lot of time refining visuals in Lightroom and Photoshop, or experimenting with layouts in Canva and Framer.

This is not just a hobby, it is a discipline that directly improves my engineering work. Photography has trained my eye to spot alignment issues and color imbalances that others might miss. I bring this visual standard into my technical projects. Whether I am building a dashboard or a web interface, I apply the same principles of composition and clarity. My goal is to ensure that the complex code running in the background is presented in a way that is clean, intuitive, and easy for people to explore.
